Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 2, 2026
No Servers. No Data Collection. Period.
Delete My Tweets has no backend servers. Not "secure servers" — literally no servers at all. We have no database, no infrastructure to receive your data, nowhere for your information to go. The app runs entirely on your computer using browser automation. Your tweets, your login, your session — everything stays on your machine because there is nowhere else for it to go.
1. Information We Cannot Collect
Because we have no servers, we literally cannot collect your data. This is privacy by architecture, not policy:
- Your Tweets: We never see your tweets because they never leave your browser. There are no servers to receive them.
- Your Twitter Password: You log into Twitter in your browser like normal. We have no login form and no servers to receive credentials.
- Your Session: The app uses your existing browser session. No tokens or credentials are transmitted to us because there is no "us" to send them to.
- Usage Data: No analytics, no telemetry, no tracking. We have no way to know if you even use the app after purchase.
2. Information We DO Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to process your purchase:
- Purchase Information: When you buy Delete My Tweets, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment details. We receive only your email address and transaction confirmation.
- Email Address: Used solely to send your download link and important product updates (security patches, etc.). We never share or sell your email.
3. How the App Works (Technical Details)
Delete My Tweets uses browser automation — essentially automated clicking:
- Authentication: You log into Twitter in your browser like you normally would. The app uses your existing logged-in session. No OAuth tokens, no API access, no third-party authorization.
- Tweet Deletion: The app scrolls through your Twitter profile, finds tweets, and clicks the delete button on each one — exactly like you would do manually, just automated. All actions happen in your browser.
- Data Flow: Your browser communicates directly with Twitter. Nothing passes through any third-party servers because we have no servers.
4. No Twitter Archive Required
Unlike API-based tools that require archive imports:
- Delete My Tweets works directly in your browser
- It scrolls through your profile to find tweets, just like you would
- No archive download, no data export, no file handling
- Everything happens live in your browser session
5. Third-Party Services
We use minimal third-party services:
- Stripe: Payment processing only. We receive your email and transaction confirmation. We do not store your credit card information.
- Twitter/X: The app automates actions in your browser on twitter.com. This is the same as you using Twitter manually — no special API access involved.
- Vercel: Our marketing website hosting. The app itself has no connection to any web services.
6. Data Security
Security through absence of infrastructure:
- We have no servers to breach, no databases to leak, no data to steal
- The app uses your existing browser session — no credentials are stored
- Your browser communicates directly with Twitter, same as normal browsing
- Closing the app ends the session. Nothing persists.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Stop using the app at any time — there is nothing to revoke since we never had access
- Request deletion of your purchase email from our payment records
- Ask questions about how the app works
8. Children's Privacy
Delete My Tweets is not intended for use by children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy occasionally. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the app. Continued use of Delete My Tweets after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
